A Device of Simple Cerebral Seriograph

Abstract
|
|
|
A simple type pf Seriographic Apparatus for cerebral angiography was devised and has been in use for the neuroradiological studies.
The apparatus is made of wood-board and lead plate and consists of two parts; one for anteroposterior projection, the other for lateral projection.
Each part is so constructed as Cassette Carrier moves up and down freely within the Fixed Frame.
Fixed Frame is fully covered by two mm thick lead plate except where the X-Ray beam should be passed through a examinee´s head.
Cassette Carrier is able to carry three X-Ray cassettes within it and moves rapidly by the heavy plumment which attached to the carrier through a short rope. During the procdeure this moving carrier stoops in position according as Carrier Controller takes action manually.
This apparatus is semiautomatic and controlled by X-Ray man.
The advantage of the machine would be:
1. simple and rather quick in handling.
2. inexpensive for construction.
3. ordinary cassette for skull X-Ray may be suffice for use.
